Thousands of pets in southern Arizona won't go hungry thanks to a donation from PetSmart.
The company gave 40 thousand bags of dog and cat food to the Community Food Bank of Southern Arizona this morning.
PetSmart employees say the donation will make a big difference for Tucson families who have pets and get their meals from the food bank.
The donation is part of PetSmart's buy a bag, give a meal program. For each bag of pet food you buy from PetSmart through the end of the year, the company will donate a meal to a pet in need.
