Police in Peoria say a driver has died after becoming pinned between two dump trucks in a parking lot.
They say 50-year-old Arturo Perez was standing between the trucks and doing a prep-trip check around 6:30 a.m. Monday.
Police say the parking brake wasn't engaged in one truck and it rolled backward, pinning Perez between the two large vehicles.
They say another driver witnessed the incident and moved one of the trucks to free Perez before emergency crews arrived.
The Tolleson resident was taken to a hospital in critical condition and died from his injuries.
Police are investigating the incident, but say impairment and foul play don't appear to be factors.
