TUCSON, Ariz. — TUCSON, Ariz. -- A pedestrian is suffering from life-threatening injuries after being struck on Irvington and I-19 before 9 p.m., TPD reports.
Per Sergeant Pete Dugan, the pedestrian was hit while walking through the overpass and was not in the crosswalk. The pedestrian has sustained life-threatening injuries.
At this time, TPD is asking that drivers please avoid the area, as Eastbound and Westbound Irvington overpass is closed off.
