Tucson police say a pedestrian died in a southside collision Tuesday night.
Police say the wreck happened at 10:20 p.m. near South 6th Ave. and West Oklahoma Street.
The victim was 39-year-old Basil Eleando. He was using crutches as he tried to cross 6th Ave. from the west to the east sdie of the road. The driver of the Chevrolet van, a woman, was not injured. No citations were issued.
