Tucson police have identified the pedestrian that died in a collision on April 8.
55-year-old Rafael H. Duran was hit by two vehicles on South 6th Ave. and West Ohio St.
According to Sgt. Pete Dugan with the Tucson Police Department, Duran was hit by a blue Acura while he was walking eastbound across 6th Ave, just north of Ohio St. Duran was not in a crosswalk.
The driver of the Acura attempted to help Duran, but before they could he was hit by a second vehicle being described as an unknown white Sedan that did not remain on the scene.
Detectives are still asking anyone with information about the second vehicle involved to call 88-CRIME.
