TUCSON, Ariz. - Tucson police say a pedestrian who was hit near Grant and Palo Verde Jan. 3 has died.
Police say 67-year-old Dennis Mullgan died from a brain injury he suffered in the wreck. He was walking across Grant from north to south, east of Palo Verde, and was not in a crosswalk when a 2005 Chevrolet Silverado hit him while headed eastbound.
Speed and impairment were not deemed to have been factors in the crash.
The investigation is ongoing. No arrests have been made or citations have been issued.
