PHOENIX (KNXV) - Officials are searching for the suspect who snuck into a restricted area at Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport.
Phoenix police said between 4:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. on February 20, an unknown person entered a secure area on the south side of the airfield.
According to Phoenix police, the suspect committed several acts of criminal damage to electrical equipment.
The damage did not interfere with any airport operations but did initiate a service report. The damage was first discovered when technicians responded to investigate the trouble indicators.
Officers were called to the area but never located a suspect. A description of the suspect is unknown at this time and there are no surveillance photos available for release.
No equipment was reported missing.
