Deputies from the Pinal County Sheriff's Office responded to a residence in the 900 block of East Anastasia in San Tan Valley to assist the constable with an eviction on Monday.
PCSO says the eviction turned into a confrontation with a resident, who produced a gun and pointed it at a deputy.
The man as disarmed before any shots were fired.
No one was injured during the incident and the suspect is heading to jail.
