TUCSON, Ariz. — Pima County Sheriff's deputies conducted a traffic stop that lead to a narcotic seizure Friday.
PCSD said deputies stopped 38-year-old Leonardo Lopez-Vicarra in a passenger vehicle near the intersection of Fort Lowell Road and Stone Avenue around 1 p.m.
Deputies said a K9 detected a scent where deputies found four burrito shaped packages containing five pounds of heroin.
PCSD said the drugs are estimated at $50,000.
Lopez-Vicarra was arrested and facing charges for possession of a narcotic drug for sale and possession of drug paraphernalia
Lopez-Vicarra was booked into Pima County Adult Detention Complex.
