The Pima County Sheriff's Department is seeking the public's help in naming their newest Crisis Response Canine.

This dog will be assigned to the Mental Health Support Team and will undergo training to learn obedience, the ins and outs of being a therapy dog, and how to be a first responder.

In order to leave a name suggestion, leave a comment on PCSD's latest Facebook post.

They will be accepting names until 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 3. with the winning name revealed soon thereafter.

The Sheriff's Department says the winning nomination will receive a meet and greet with the dog and "some sweet PCSD swag."
