PCSD searching for suspect in attempted armed robbery

TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - The Pima County Sheriff's Department is searching for a suspect who attempted an armed robbery at Jack in the Box on July 31, 2017.

According to PCSD, the suspect produced a gun at the counter and demanded money in the store located at 2985 West Valencia Road. The employee walked away, causing the suspect to flee with no money.

Detectives describe the suspect as:

  • Hispanic or Native American, with a dark complexion
  • In his 40s with a medium build 
  • He was last seen wearing a black Chicago Bulls hat, white shirt over his shoulders, blue striped polo style shirt, and jeans

PCSD says that the suspect is considered armed and dangerous. Anyone with information is asked to call 9-1-1 or 88-CRIME.
