The Pima County Sheriff's Department is searching for a man who robbed the Compass Bank located at 7645 North La Cholla Boulevard.
According to Ryan Inglett with PCSD, the suspect entered the bank demanding money. He then handed the tellers a backpack and ordered them to fill it with money.
Detectives believe that the same man is linked to a robbery that occurred at Hughes Federal Credit Union located at 7970 N Thornydale Road prior to the Compass Bank robbery.
The suspect is described as:
- Hispanic
- Thin build and a beard
- Last seen wearing a black hat, sunglasses, red bandana around his neck
- Black and white shirt, jeans
- Carrying a silver helmet, and wearing a black backpack
Anyone with information is asked to call 9-1-1.
