Deputies from the Pima County Sheriff's Department rescued an injured hiker from Romero Pools on Sunday morning.
Deputy Cody Gress said around 11 a.m. they received a call of a woman who had broken her ankle.
A helicopter was summoned and transported the woman from the area to be treated.
