UPDATE: PCSD reports 911 network outage; City says its 911 system works fine

UPDATE (4:50 p.m.): The City of Tucson said on social media that its 911 system is working.

"911 calls are being received," the post said. "If you call, please do not hang up until you speak with a 911 operator."

The Pima County Sheriff's Department is experiencing a 911 network outage.

In a release on Monday at 3:02 P.M., they say it's due to a statewide 911 network outage.
