The Pima County Sheriff's Department is looking for an inmate who escaped from her work crew, according to a press release.
On Saturday morning at 8 a.m. Foothills District deputies responded to the Pima Animal Care Center for a call of an inmate that was walking away from a work crew.
Deputies say inmate Cathleen Stein was working as part of an inmate crew when she disappeared.
Stein had been in custody serving time for a probation violation and was due to be released in mid-June.
Stein is a 49-year-old Caucasian woman with blonde hair, blue eyes, is 5'8" and weighs 125 pounds.
Stein was last seen wearing her red Pima County jail uniform.
The PCSD Fugitive Investigative Strike Team has taken over the investigation.
If you have any information on the whereabouts of Stein you are asked to call 9-1-1 or 88-CRIME.
On March 19 Sarah Herrera escaped from her work crew at Pima Animal Care Center. She was captured by authorities three days after in midtown.
