The Pima County Sheriff's Department is investigating a man's suspicious interaction with a child, according to a news release from PCSD.
Deputies say at 5:30 p.m. on July 14 they responded to the 7300 block of South Mule Deer Road for the report of suspicious activity.
Deputies learned that a man had attempted contact with a 10-year-old boy.
The boy was outside in a front yard and the unknown man was across the street standing near a neighbor's fence.
The man asked the boy several times to come to his location across the stress.
Deputies say the boy decided not to do as the man asked and went inside his house and told his mother about the incident.
PCSD says the man is described as Caucasian with short grey or light colored hair and some sort of mark on the right side of his face just above his upper lip. The man was last seen wearing a white t-shirt and jeans with holes in them.
Deputies say it is unknown what the man's intentions were in trying to summon the boy to his location.
If you have any information on this incident you are asked to call 9-1-1 or 88-CRIME.
