Back in June 2016, a fire damaged a shelter that housed donations and vehicles used for distribution by the Gospel Rescue Mission.

Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos saw the opportunity to help the Gospel Rescue Mission by donating a 2003 GMC Utility Van.

The Gospel Rescue Mission was founded in 1953 and started as a men’s shelter in downtown Tucson.

The faith based organization provides mental, emotional, and physical support services to people in need, including emergency shelters for men, women, and children.
