PCSD: Detectives looking to identify vehicle break-in suspect

TUCSON, Ariz. — The Pima County Sheriff's Department responded to a report of a vehicle break-in November 29, 2019.

Deputies responded to the area of Rillito River Park access off of River Fringe Drive, upon arrival deputies discovered that the vehicle had a passenger window broken, and a purse had been taken, according to PCSD.

Deputies say within minutes the victim's credit cards had been used at a Family Dollar located at 1354 West Prince Road.

The credit cards were used to buy several hundred dollars' worth of gift cards, PCSD say.

Deputies describe the suspect as a Hispanic man, in his 20s or 30’s, with a beard and glasses, average height, and he was last seen wearing a white 'Levi' sweatshirt.

Auto Theft Detectives have taken over the investigation and are asking for help from the public in identifying the suspect.
