Sunsites-Pearce Fire District and several other agencies responded to a mass casualty incident on Highway 191 last Friday.
According to a social media post from SPFD, a passenger van was found on its side, with eight occupants found at the scene.
Two patients declined medical treatment, four were treated and transported to local hospitals. The other two were flown from the scene to Tucson for a higher-level of care, the post said.
