The shelter received the dogs back in April from good Samaritans in Hermosillo, Mexico.
After seeing the conditions they were all in - veterinarians got straight to work.
Two of the dogs were paralyzed from the waist down, and another puppy had its limbs chopped off.
The worse case was a puppy brought in with their bones coming out of their body and their nose cut off.
After two months of rehabilitation, the puppies received wheelchairs and are ready for adoption.
"I worked with them --- conditioning them onto the wheelchair because you can't just put a dog in a wheelchair and say hey learn how to walk all over again," said Sandy McPadden with the rescue.
Now, the dogs are ready for adoption.
