TUCSON, Ariz. - Pima County Care Canter removed 21 cats from a home today.
Animal Protection Officers responded to a home located near Elm Street and Stone Avenue with 21 cats inside the residence.
Officials say, all of the cats were younger than two years. They were dehydrated and have upper respiratory infections.
Some of the cats have been placed in the Pima Animal Care Center for treatment.
The case is under investigation.
After the cats have been examined the cats will be in need of adoption and fosters.
PACC currently has 93 cats and kittens, and 369 dogs and puppies.

PACC is located at 4000 N. Silverbell Rd. and they are open Monday through Friday, noon to 7 p.m., and Saturday through Sunday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
