For the next two weeks Pima Animal Care Center will be offering reduced adoption rates from $14 to completely free as part of the "Give Love" adoption campaign.

The special starts on February 1 and goes until February 14 and will take place at PACC's main shelter on 4000 North Silverbell Road and its five PetSmart locations.

The Give Love campaign will guarantee an adoption fee of $14 or less for all pets, including puppies and kittens.

Shelter officials say this fee includes added benefits valued at more than $200, including pet's spay or neuter surgery, up-to-date vaccinations, microchip and a free visit to the vet.

A $17 licensing fee will apply to all adult dogs.

“By choosing to adopt you not only save that pet’s life, but also create the much-needed space to help us save more homeless pets in our community,” said Justin Gallick, PACC's director of community engagement in a news release.
