PACC leader to attend Dallas summit

TUCSON, Ariz. - Pima Animal Care Center is going to attend a national discussion about animal protection and enforcement services.

PACC director Kristen Hassen-Auerbach will be speaking with other shelter leaders at the animal control leadership summit in Dallas.

The event will be hosted by Best Friends Animal Society and is sponsored by Maddie’s Fund Family.

The event will take place on June 26.

Other leaderships include Maricopa County, Albuquerque, NM, Fort Worth, Austin, Oklahoma City, Washoe County, and Montogomery County.

The goal of the conference is to build a better understanding of what is working in animal protection, as well as what is not. Through this conference, PACC and others want to gain a better understanding of practices that can be implemented across multiple communities.
