TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - Hundreds of people made new friends at Friday's Pima Animal Care Center's dog walk.
More people came out to walk dogs early this morning, making it the biggest walk PACC has hosted so far.
One worker is happy that more people took the time to help ease the overcrowding there.
These dog lovers also got the chance to adopt one of the furry friends for free.
If you missed the adoption event, don't worry PACC is extending its celebration through the end of the month with a special adoption fee.
For people who can not make it to the shelter on Jan. 1 for the adoption event, PACC will be offering reduced adoption fees of $20.16 through the end of January.
