Over $225,000 worth of illegal drugs were kept off the streets of Arizona this past weekend thanks to the combined efforts of the Pima County Sheriff's Department and the United States Border Patrol.

On July 1, a sheriff deputy and his K9 were called to assist Border Patrol in the inspection of a vehicle at the Arizona Port of Lukeville on Highway 85. The K9, Robbie, discovered nearly 10 pounds of cocaine worth around $108,000.

Three days later on July 4, a US Border Patrol K9 helped agents locate 242 pounds of marijuana worth around $121,000 in another vehicle.
