Oro Valley Police searching for missing Oklahoma man

TUCSON, Ariz. — The Oro Valley Police Department is assisting in a missing person investigation.

Bartlesville, Oklahoma Police say 66-year-old Steven Brashear left Oklahoma to Arizona with another male in a gray Audi Q5 SUV with Oklahoma temporary plates. Police believed he arrived in Tucson sometime in the afternoon on December 8th. It is reported he visited a restaurant near the Tucson Mall. He was allegedly picked up in another vehicle by an unknown person. Brashear has not been seen or heard from since.

Bartlesville Police pinged his cellphone. It was within a three-mile radius of Oracle Road and Hardy Road. OVPD searched the area. They did not find him or his phone.

His family says a lack of contact with him is highly unusual. It has been reported that he previously made suicidal statements. Brashear is 165 pounds, 5'6 tall and has green eyes.
