ORO VALLEY, Ariz. — Thousands of residents in Oro Valley and the Catalina area are experiencing an outage from Tucson Electric Company, per TEP's website. Power wasn't fully restored for some residents in the area until around 4 a.m.
The estimated time for the outage to be fixed was 2 a.m., and TEP crews responded quickly to the scene and determined the cause to be weather-elated equipment damage.
Per TEP, their outage map is updated every five minutes, providing a snapshot of service interruptions in TEP’s service area.
