Orangutan Home Services fined for illegal telemarketing calls

Attorney General Mark Brnovich announced Orangutan Home Services, Inc. will pay $150,000 in civil fines for calling people on the "Do Not Call" Registry.

Orangutan Home Services is an HVAC installation and maintenance company that does business in the Tucson and Phoenix areas. According to the Attorney Generals' Office, the company admitted to making thousands of illegal telemarketing calls to Arizonans from April 2017 to Oct. 2017.

The fine will be used to fund further enforcement efforts, including actions against illegal telemarketers.
