TUCSON, Ariz. - Operation Reintegration was held earlier today by Tucson Veteran Affairs.
The event was held at the Tucson VA Medical Center in the R.E. Lindsey Auditoirum located in builidng 4 at 3601 S. 6th Avenue from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.
The mission is to give local veterans a chance to build camaraderie and get involved in the community.
Event organizer say, they focus on volunteer and fitness opportunities.
Mike Ramsey with Operation Reintegration says, it can be extremely important for veterans to connect with each other.
The VA holds Operation integration twice a year.
