TUCSON, Ariz. — Operation Deep Freeze is in effect Tuesday due to the expected low temperatures in Tucson.
The Salvation Army made the official announcement Tuesday morning. Doors will be open at the organization's Tucson Hospitality House for anyone seeking overnight shelter until 9:00 p.m.
"Donations are in need to help keep people warm this winter. Items needed: coats, blankets, gloves, socks, and sweaters. Donations can be dropped off at any Naughton’s Plumbing location or at the Hospitality House at 1002 N. Main Ave," the Salvation Army said in a press release.
