One man has been arrested and another is wanted for a shooting that happened in a Tucson parking lot in December according

On December 12, 2016, just before 9:30 at night, officers located a 16-year-old in a parking lot at 4450 N 1st Avenue with obvious signs of gunshot trauma.

During the investigation, it was determined that the 16-year-old had been driven to the parking lot by an adult male friend.

They were going to meet with several acquaintances in the parking lot. The adult male and another man got in a physical fight.

While the fight was happening, another man approached the 16-year-old who was sitting in the passenger seat and shot him.

According to a release, "The 16-year-old’s friend ran across the street to escape and shots were fired at him as he crossed 1st Ave. He was not struck by gunfire but did sustain injuries related to the assault. The suspects then fled the area in their vehicle. After an extensive search, neither the suspects nor the vehicle was located. The suspects were described as four Hispanic males who were possibly driving a black truck or SUV."

The investigation continued and on March 9, U.S. Marshals arrested 22-year-old Ivan Alcala in Las Vegas.

Detectives also obtained a felony arrest warrant for 23-year-old Jose Luis Gonzalez Ceron who is considered armed and dangerous.

He has ties to Tucson and Douglas.

In addition, police have identified a 2003 Dodge Durango with license plate BYD4703 as a suspect vehicle.

Anyone with information is asked to call 911 or 88-CRIME.
