4 tickets worth at least a million sold in AZ

PHOENIX (KGUN9-TV) - Four Arizona Lottery players are among the country’s newest millionaires, thanks to the Jan. 13 Powerball drawing. 

Three tickets, purchased in Arizona, matched all five white ball numbers, generating second-prize payouts of $1 million each.
 
One Arizona Lottery player matched all five white ball numbers and purchased the Power Play option for a prize of $2 million.
 
The winning million dollar tickets were purchased at locations throughout the state:
  • $2 million – 39414 N. Daisy Mountain Drive in Anthem
  • $1 million – Scenic General Store at 2960 Scenic Boulevard in Littlefield
  • $1 million – CST Corner Store at 2182 E. Florence Boulevard in Casa Grande
  • $1 million – Shell at 11235 Fortuna Road in Yuma
In addition, 21 tickets matched all four white ball numbers and the red Powerball for a prize of $50,000.
 
 
More than 645,000 Powerball tickets sold by the Arizona Lottery won prizes totaling more than $8.6 million. Prizes ranged from $4 to $2 million.
 
 
While the odds of winning the jackpot are one in 292.2 million, the overall odds of winning any cash prize are approximately one in 24.87.
