Marana Police are investigating a deadly officer-involved shooting Wednesday night.
According to Sgt. Chriswell Scott with the department, officers were called to the Springs Apartment Complex in the 7900 block of N. Cortaro Rd for a report of a domestic dispute. When officers arrived at the scene, they found a man armed with a gun. The suspect was said to be involved in the domestic dispute.
After a confrontation between the man and the officers, one MPD officer fired his weapon and hit the man. Life-saving measures were administered but the suspect was pronounced dead at the scene.
The suspect has been identified as 43-year-old Brandon Wade Rucker.

Detectives have taken over the investigation.
