Northwest Fire responded to a mobile home fire in the 7700 block of North Star Grass Drive on Thursday night.
Capt. Brian Keeley of Northwest Fire says that they received multiple 9-1-1 calls on smoke coming from a house. As units arrived on scene they found a mobile home with smoke coming from all vents and windows.
The fire was extinguished seven minutes after the first crew arrived. No one was home during the time of the fire.
The homeowner had all his belongings inside the home but was staying in a separate structure on the property that was not damaged.
The owner of the home and his three pets have been displaced because crews had to shut off power and gas from the home.
Red Cross and the Northwest Fire District Community Assistance Program will be assisting the homeowner.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation and there is no estimate on damages at this time.
