The Nogales Police Department is investigating the first homicide of 2020 that happened on February 14.
Police say the homicide happened at 400 Block of Grand Avenue near Interstate 19.
Police have identified the victim as 32-year-old Hansel Aleman.
The suspect is 31-year-old Daniel Navarro, according to NPD.
Navarro was arrested and charged with homicide along with aggravated assault.
The case is still under investigation.
