PHOENIX (AP) - Authorities say no criminal charges will be filed against the driver of a semi-trailer truck involved in a hit-and-run collision in Phoenix that killed a woman.

Phoenix police say the driver left the scene of the collision early Tuesday morning, but later contacted investigators after seeing a news story about 33-year-old Krystle Ann Klain's death as a result of being struck by the truck.

Police say the evidence shows the driver was unaware of the collision.

It occurred at the intersection of 43rd Avenue and Glendale Avenue.
