Make sure to grab a donut! National Donut Day happens every first Friday in June. The holiday started back in 1938 when the Salvation Army sold donuts to raise money for soldiers in need.

This year, it's Friday June 3rd, and you can score a free donut at Krispy Kreme and at Dunkin Donuts with a drink purchase.

At Bashas', more than 400 kids applied for the Summer Donut Flavor Craze contest, but 9-year-old Fallon Ross won with her creation: a "S'morealicious" donut.

She explained that it's, "a chocolate donut with marshmallow icing, graham cracker crust, and chocolate drizzle."

Her inspiration? She said she is going camping with her family in a few months, "and I thought of s'mores and I've never seen s'mores in a donut before."

Fallon's s'mores will be sold all summer long at Bashas'.
