The Maynard Fire, burning 18 miles N. of Arivaca and E. of the Buenos Aires National Wildlife Refuge, was reported Monday morning.
The fire is currently estimated at 100 and the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
There are 120 personnel on scene. Two hotshot crews along with three Type 2 teams are working to suppress the fire. Air resources are assisting the Department of Forestry and Fire Management.
