TUCSON, Ariz. -- A new study found that apartment rent prices have risen 0.3 percent in the last month.
Apartment List's study found that the median rent for a two-bedroom apartment in Tucson is $940, which is the lowest amount compared to the other 10 largest cities in Arizona.
Gilbert is the most expensive, their median two-bedroom rent costing nearly $1,500 in the month of May.
Apartment List officials say that over the last few years, rent has increased almost 2 percent each year while Arizona is up 3.4% for the last 12 months.
Nationally, rent is up 1.5%, according to the national study.
