The Shovel Fire burning on Mount Lemmon is 50 percent contained at 17 acres.
According to the Forest Service, one hundred crews worked the lines containing the flames, and a number of helicopters dumped water on the flames.
This is the second time a fire has broke out in the Coronado National Forest.
Investigators believe that both were human-caused.
