A new luxury movie theatre will open its doors to movie-goers in Tucson next month.
Galaxy Theatres will be located at Broadway and Houghton (100 S. Houghton Road), making it the newest addition to Tucson's developing east side.
“We are thrilled to open our first Arizona location in Tucson,” said Galaxy Theatres CEO Frank Rimkus. “Our goal is to provide exceptional customer service so that our guests feel welcomed and comfortable in our theatre. We’re excited to be a place where people can come relax, enjoy a movie, and create memories.”
The theatre chain is known for its friendly service and comfortable environment. Visitors will sit in leather lounge chairs, which you can reserve online ahead of time.
Concessions served at the theatre include beer, wine, pizza, pretzels, and hot dogs.
“We would like to thank all our partners and the community for welcoming us into Tucson,” continued Rimkus. “We see Tucson as a city on the rise and are excited to be a part of its continued growth.”
Galaxy Theatres says it will bring in 75-100 jobs when it opens.
The grand opening is set for November 1.
