One man waited nearly 20 hours for the iPhone X on Friday. Gunnar Biggerstaff says he'd been waiting since noon the day before the new iPhone X was released.

"It's my fifth year, I'm a student here at the U of A and it's just sort of become a tradition coming out for the first two years I did it," Biggerstaff tells KGUN9. He says he just keeps coming back and usually sees the same people at the front of the line. Biggerstaff says, "it's kind of cool to be able to sit here all night. It's all part of the experience in getting a new phone every year."

Tucson iPhone lovers lined up outside the La Encantada Apple Store Friday morning waiting for the chance to walk through the doors and buy an iPhone X.

Apple celebrated the iPhone's 10th anniversary with some major changes to the iPhone X. The phone has a bigger screen and it replaces the Home button with a face-detection technology.

This phone has a bigger screen, face-detection technology and a price tag of $999.

Pre-orders for the iPhone X started at midnight on Oct. 27thBut within 15 minutes, the main Apple site in the U.S. ran out of devices. People who pre-ordered the phone last week will get their phones in the mail Friday.
