Monday marked the first day that you could take a commercial drone pilot exam under new federal rules.
Before, anyone wanting the license from the FAA needed a pilot's license.
Drones must be under 55 pounds and stay in the view of the operator and can't fly higher than 400 feet.
Pilots who want to fly at night will need a waiver.
