TUCSON, Ariz. — A Tucson call center plans to lay off hundreds of workers in the coming months, according to a notification filed with the state.

The Concentrix Corporation, which operates a call center at 3760 North Commerce Dr. in west Tucson, will lay off 785 workers, according to a notice filed with the Arizona Department of Economic Security in accordance with the Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification (WARN) Act.

The law requires employers to give 60 days notice to employees before mass layoffs.

The company didn't immediately return a request for comment Monday afternoon.
