Habitat for Humanity and Lowe's volunteers are helping families build strength and stability in celebration of National Women Build Week.

This week long event spotlights homeownership challenges faced by women.

It can be difficult for some women to own their own homes, but today that changed for Yvonne Falzone. Habitata for Humanity handed her the keys to her new home.

Now that he home is finished, Falzone says it's hard to put how she feels into words.

The feelings are all mixed up...most of all, I feel blessed.

More than 100 Habitat for Humanity and Lowe's Heroes are celebrating National Women Build Week by constructing new affordable homes in Tucson.

Habitat for Humanity Tucson’s mission is to create a more compassionate and just world by bringing people together to build homes, community and hope. Habitat for Humanity Tucson works to end poverty housing by creating opportunities for homeownership and home repair in partnership with low-income families, and by making decent shelter a matter of community conscience and action. www.habitattucson.org.
