TUCSON SECTOR, Ariz. — Over the past weekend, the Arizona Border Patrol and National Guard apprehended 10 separate groups of migrants coming from Mexico to the United States in the western part of the Tucson Sector.

Per a U.S. Customs and Border Protection press release, the National Guard operated helicopters to guide CBP agents on the ground to pursue arrests and to make arrests themselves.

CBP said that the groups were different than usual, because, instead of surrendering in the open, these migrants were donning camouflage clothing and attempting to avoid capture in rougher terrain north of the border.
