A narcotics operation in a shopping center near Campbell and Irvington led to an officer-involved shooting, Monday afternoon.
The Drug Enforcement Administration confirmed through a statement that shots were fired during the operation. Two suspects are in custody and the scene is secured with no danger to the public, the statement said.
Tucson Police Department assisted the DEA in the operation, but were not involved in the shooting or investigation, it confirmed.
