PHOENIX (AP) - Authorities in Phoenix say a wreck involving multiple vehicles has left one person dead and at least seven others injured.
The wreck occurred at about 4 a.m. Saturday near South Seventh Avenue and West Baseline Road and fire Capt. Kenny Overton said those involved ranged in age from 16 to 30 years old.
Phoenix police are investigating the cause of the wreck.
No information was immediately available on its circumstances and there were conflicting reports on the number of vehicles involved.
Overton said four of the people involved had to be extricated from one vehicle.
