Firefighters responded to a multiple unit apartment fire Saturday morning near Grant and Alvernon.
According to TFD, the sprinkler system in the apartment building kept the fire to a minimum. Due to its location, the fire on the third flood affected 23 units.
American Red Cross Volunteers from the disaster action team are on the scene meeting with families to provide assistance.
TFD says that the tenants should be back in a few days after the water is removed and the residences are restored.
No injuries were reported in the fire.
