The Coconino Sheriff's Department is looking for a man they said shot at Forest Service crews Tuesday.
They believe that is the same who man set eight small brush fires in Forest Lakes on Monday.
When crew members found a man matching the description of the accused arsonist they confronted him. That's when they said the man pulled out a hand gun and fired shots at crew members. When they turned to run away the man then allegedly shot at them with a shotgun.
No one was injured, but Forest Service officials said this man should be considered armed and dangerous.
Multiple agencies are searching the forest, neighborhoods, and surrounding area for the man. The AZDPS helicopter is also deployed and helping with the search.
If you see the man you're asked to call 9-1-1. Officials say you should not approach him or try to confront him.
